The first struggle with my cute baby-Episode-1

Seven nights passed. We still have troubles. No signs yet from the baby to be ready to accept the situation but the response she gives are changing night by night.

Further tough nights might be needed.

Hope my baby can quickly complete this unpleasant feelings-horror or fear, and uneasiness.

The first struggle with my cute baby

A surprising or a frightening: the first response from the 17-months-old girl was when her mother denied to breastfeed for a whole day. In the next day, she said, the surprising was changed to a rage or a wrath. The never-ending crying was furious and serious. The little cute baby might have felt a sort of betrayal. In the end, my wife and I couldn’t go on the job at the first trial.

Weeks later, the approach was changed -a stepwise quitting- and we could get a remarkable progress. The baby now gets along with other meals at daytime. But at night we still have troubles.

Last night, it was the second night that my wife didn’t breastfeed for the baby and she was crying almost the whole night without a rest. Finally she got two cups of milk instead of mother’s milk slowly-for hours- and got asleep in the dawn. My poor wife was awakened all the night.

I’m not sure the baby has been crying because of a real hunger or because of her long habit, but the obvious thing is that she has felt uncomfortable and the feeling will be repeated till she gives up and accepts it or till she forgets her habit. Someday, the baby no longer remembers and thinks about this, but it might be the first hurt in mind in her life regardless of her memory.

We had experienced this before with the first son, but it is really amazing that both of my wife and I couldn’t remember his case!

Wish Lists and Shopping Lists

Getting older must be getting greedier to me:very abnormal, very insane !
Who in the world would write his first blog post with A-WISH-LIST !

Anyway the difference between the wish-lists and the shopping-lists is whether my wife accepts it or not.

==
In the shopping lists,
1. Skin-care products for atopic troubles:

For my little cute daughter. I hesitate to buy additional items like a special sun-block cream. It may cost 50,000 KRW or more(upto 80,000 KRW) In addition, my skin lotion(28,000 KRW)

2. Remote controller for TV/DVD set:
Living with two untouchable kids makes this kind of financial(?) noises - unexpected and undesirable money spending(21,000 KRW)

3. Electronic rice-cooker:
My sister wants it for her house warm-up party present. The problem is the model she wants is too expensive.(upto 320,000 KRW)

====

In the wish-lists hopefully,
1. HD Camcoder:

For a year, I'd visited to SONY service center three times and gave up to repair my own out-of-order camcoder. Fortunately SONY announces its brand-new HDR HC3 recently, and happily the price for its old model HDR HC1 falls day by day. I'm not sure I'll have which one yet, and a SLR camera body can be an alternative. (1,100,000 KRW - 1,700,000 KRW)
2. Gallimard's First Discovery(GFD)Book Series:
Once I heard my wife liked to buy the GFD fullset(134 books!), I persuade her to buy a small 10-books series instead, and bought the torchlight set. It was quite nice, and two more sets-daily life and the nature- are in the wish-lists.(150,000 KRW * 2)

3. Roll-blind for cars:
I found funny roll-blinds with Sponge-Bob or Dora pictures. They might soothe my son's complain for the strong sunlight in the back-seats.( 20,000 KRW)
=====

Hmm 1,840,00 KRW at minimum and 2,470,000 KRW at maximum.
I'm wondering I'll be happier if I spend only that amount of money.
