Heavy Rains

The typhoon Ewinia had gone through the middle area of the peninsular without serious damages last week fortunately, but the succesive torrential rains had left hurts in Seoul and its suburbs in north.

Pouring down-more than 400 mm rains a day- had stopped many of the city functions, especially in transports. The traffic was really worse on Wednesday night by the additional impact by tens of thousands's demonstration for anti-FTA talks with the USA at Kwanghwamun.

I had thought the monsoon rains would be over by the typhoon, but it was wrong. In my town, a part of stony embankment at Eujuro sidewalk was collapsed and has been left like the pictures for three days.

The forecasting says another big rain in this weekend...

It's really tremendous rain. We must be very tiny subsistence comparing to nature.

I checked Wind Stopper had suggested 2nd next week and I recommend a certain date.
