My brother and brother-in-law suggested to join in their short weekend trip to the beach on somewhere in the west coast in the last week. As I said to Raphael in his blog, your pictures also are degraded by color or resize. Especially in the last picture, faces of your boy and girl, between eye and nose are not expressed compared to the original.

1) Resize (smaller one) divided by 2,4,8, etc. There are three famous resize algorithms (near-by,bi-liner,bi-cubic) and all of them make degrade the quality of picture.
2) All kind of resize program have "save quality percentage" in saving JPG image. Make sure thie value is grater than 95%. The bigger value express the more colors, and also the bigger file size.
